The Bishop Watterson High School Library is a place where students can receive instruction and assistance, conduct research, study independently and explore the world of literature. Our mission is to serve the students, faculty and staff by providing materials and equipment to support the curriculum. We encourage the use of all libraries for academic and personal growth. We promote recreational reading. We develop confident and independent users of libraries and media and life-long learners.
When the Library is not being used by a class for research, study hall students are welcome to use the computers and work on their homework.
St. Jerome, the patron saint of libraries, is known primarily for his Latin translation of the Bible from the original Hebrew and Greek texts.
