Faith & Service
“Being Christian is not the result of an ethical choice or a lofty ideal, but the encounter with a person . . . the encounter with the living God.”
“Everything depends on an intimate friendship with Jesus, so the most urgent priority is to foster the growth of a personal relationship with him.”
-Pope Benedict XVI
Inspired by this truth, our campus ministry initiatives offer opportunities for students to encounter God in word and sacraments, in themselves, in one another and in the larger community. Through an encounter with Christ, we are invited to be transformed by God’s love and to go forth and transform the world. Through campus ministry, students are encouraged to connect what they are learning in the classroom with how they seek truth, live, pray, and serve others. Deacon Campbell regularly challenges the school community to “love God, do your best and help one another.”
