Italian Ministry Places Student Teacher at Two Diocese Schools
The NOI Foundation (Nuovi Orizzonti Italiani), through the Consulate of Italy in Detroit and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rome, is proud to present a new and exciting program to promote, enhance and support the Italian Language programs at two Diocese of Columbus schools.
The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rome has provided funding to place an assistant teacher from Italy at Bishop Watterson and St. Francis DeSales High Schools.
Roberta Bertolini, a native of Milan, Italy, was chosen from a number of candidates, specifically trained for the instruction of Italian as a foreign language. She will assist Antonella Iacobone and Kelly Matthews, Italian teachers at St. Francis DeSales and Bishop Watterson, through the end of the 2017-2018 school year.
