Boys and Girls Swim Team District Results

Bishop Watterson Boys Swim Team – Eagles are District runner-up!

The BWHS Swim Team competed at Districts over the weekend. The boys team broke 6 school records, won 4 District Champion titles, and was the 2018 Central District Runner-up Team Champion.

Thomas Clark was the District Champion in the 100 Butterfly and the 200 IM. He broke school records in both events and broke the meet record in the 200 IM.

Perry Finnegan was the District Champion in the 50 Freestyle and broke the school record in that event and in the 100 Freestyle.

The 200 Freestyle Relay of Thomas Clark, David Coss, Perry Finnegan, & Michael Vondran won 1^st place & set a new school record. The medley relay of Thomas, David, Perry, and Michael placed 2nd & also set a new school record.

The boys swept the 50 freestyle with Finnegan in 1^st place, David Coss in 2^nd place, & Michael Vondran in 3^rd place.

Clark, Coss, Finnegan, and Vondran qualified for the state meet in their individual events and the relays.

Mia Brown placed second in the 50 Freestyle and qualified for the state meet in the 50 & 100 Freestyle.

Elizabeth Intihar placed 2^nd in the 500 Freestyle and qualified for the state meet in the 200 and 500 Freestyle.

The 200 Freestyle and 400 Freestyle relays of Brown, Intihar, Cecilia Moore, & Julia St. John qualified for the state meet.
