The registration deadline for AP tests is October 1st. To register, students must mark “yes” in their AP account and submit payment of $94 per test to Mrs. Kirby in the guidance office. Checks should be made out to Bishop Watterson High School.
Students not planning to take the test must go in to their account and mark “no”.
College Rep Visits start September 9th
Watterson has around 100 college representatives visit each year to meet with students. Juniors and Seniors can sign up in their Naviance accounts to attend. The deadline to sign up is 3:00 the week before the visit.

Freshmen will get their Naviance logins during Freshman Seminar in mid-September.

The counselors will be visiting senior Theology classrooms Friday to help with college applications. Before Friday, seniors should:
- Create your Common App account at commonapp.org
- Have Bishop Watterson listed as your school (in the “education” section)
- Have at least one college added (in the “my colleges” tab)
Changes to AP ordering: The College Board has changed the AP ordering process. All students will need a College Board account and will be connected to their AP class within their account next week. Students will need to order the test within their College Board account by choosing “yes” or “no”. Students ordering a test must submit payment to Mrs. Kirby in the guidance office. The deadline to order and pay for your AP tests is October 1st.
The schedule change window is open this week. The deadline to turn in a signed schedule change form is Friday, Aug 30th. Students must see their counselor by Thursday to pick up a form because it must be taken home for a parent signature. Electives may be changed to another elective offered the same period or study hall period. Core classes will not be rearranged for elective requests. Changes are not made for teacher, period, or lunch preference.
