| Bishop Watterson Sports Medicine Bishop Watterson Sports Medicine The Bishop Watterson sports medicine program is dedicated to providing prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and necessary referral of sports related injuries. Athletic Injury If your son/daughter has an athletic injury that need to be evaluated, the Head Athletic Trainer is available during the school day to evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate student athletes during lunch periods, and after school. Please set up an appointment by phone or email during the summer months. Pre-participation Physicals Pre-participation physicals will be held annually at Bishop Watterson (time TBA) for all returning freshman, sophomores, and juniors planning to participate in athletics next year. All athletes must have a current physical in order to participate in a sport. Our team physicians and athletic training staff will be conducting the physicals free of charge. Parents are asked to attend to help their son/daughter fill out history and sign the necessary forms. If a parent is unable to attend, pre-participation physical forms can be picked up in the athletic office or downloaded from the Ohio High School Athletic Association homepage http://www.ohsaa.org/medicine/physicalform.htm.
