Fill Up Fridays

March 22 will be our last Fill Up Friday of the 2013 Lenten Season.

The theme this week is Avengers. Team Captain America, Team Black Widow and Team Iron Man will compete to collect the most items to help Holy Family Soup Kitchen.

The collection this week is for razors, bar soap, shampoo, toilet paper and food items.The previous Fill Up Friday collection, Toy Story, saw Team Jessie take the victory with 1,892 items, followed by Team Woody with 1,672, Team Mr. Potato Head with 762 and Team Buzz with 573 items donated to J.O.I.N.

I want to thank your parents for sending you to Bishop Watterson, for it is there that you are learning, 'Do unto others.' What a legacy you are leaving on earth at such a young age. May God continue to smile on you, your families and your school!"
