The athletes reflected on their paths to college athletic programs and the support they received along the way.

“Bishop Watterson gave me great academic opportunities and prepared me for college,” said baseball player Greg Jacknewitz. “Coach Manahan was huge in helping me get exposure to colleges.”

“I got the finest education possible at Bishop Watterson and feel prepared for my future at a college far away from home where I can grow both athletically, scholastically and in my faith,” said swimmer Samantha Schuttinger.

“My Catholic teachings have taught me to play with a positive attitude, morals and ethics,” said Abigail Hofmeister, a volleyball player.

Softball player Audrey Manahan said, “Every time I play a game I remind myself that all I have is because of God and everything I do is done in His name; athletics is no exception.”
