Congratulations to Jessica Passwater who finished 47 out of 151 runners at OHSAA Championships!

Senior Jessica Passwater finished 47th (out of 154 runners) in the Division I State Cross Country Championships with a time of 19:10 for the windy course at National Trails Raceway. "Jessica has only been running for a little over two and a half years and has run personal bests the past three races and at the State meet she ran her best time by 21 seconds which is remarkable" said coach Matt McGowan.

Jessica Passwater qualifies for the state. She was 14th overall and the first state qualifier since 2002. OHSAA results.High School State Championships - November 1, National Trail Raceway.

Girls Cross Country regional meet at Pickerington North 10/26/14

For the first time since 2004, the varsity girls team qualified for the Regional Meet, finishing 5th in the Division I Section 3 race. The girls beat 4 teams who received better seeds at the tournament draw two weeks ago. Jessica Passwater and Jeanette Pfeiffer both finished in the top 24 and qualified for Regionals as individuals as well. Jessica also received All-District honors for the 2nd time in her career, becoming the first Watterson girl since 2002 to receive multiple All-District awards. Other members of the qualifying team were Clare Aman, Caroline Sugar, Morgan Hull, Kelsi Connors, and Meghan Connors. Last year, Jessica and Meghan qualified as individuals for the Regional Meet and the girls finished 1 spot out of qualifying to Regionals as a team.

The Division I Girls Regional Meet will be held at Pickerington North High School on Saturday October 25th at 3:00 pm.

The boys finished 10th in the Division I Section 2 race led by Max McClelland's lifetime best of 16:51. 87 Central Ohio boys teams competed yesterday in Divisions I, II, and III at Watkins Memorial. The boys were the only team with 4 freshmen in its varsity. It is likely that the boys
were one of the youngest in the over 600 teams who participated in District meets across the state yesterday.
