We Are Proud of Our Academics
- 100% of our graduates are accepted at four or two year colleges.
- 85% of our 2011 graduates recorded service. This is the highest percentage of students recording service of any class in the history of the school. This class amassed 21,863 hours of service to those in need, making our community a better place. This does not include the hours given through the sophomore service training program.
- More than 72% of our 2011 graduates earned merit-based scholarships totaling
more than 12 million dollars. This does not include grants or financial aid. - Seven of our 2011 graduates were recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
- We offer sixteen Advanced Placement courses.
- We currently offer eighteen college dual-enrollment courses.
- We have 147 course offerings. This includes seventeen honors and accelerated
classes. - We prepare our students to take their place in a global society by offering four
years of Italian and Latin, and five years of Spanish and French. - The twenty-four fine and performing arts courses allow our students to develop
their various talents. - Our faculty averages nineteen years of teaching experience with 60% holding
advanced degrees. - Graduates are currently attending highly competitive colleges including Boston
College, Columbus College of Art and Design, Dartmouth, Denison, Duke,
Georgetown, Miami University of Ohio, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Oberlin,
Princeton, the U. S. Air Force and Naval Academies, Vanderbilt, Villanova,
Xavier and many more.
